TYPEFACE DESIGN: Nina30
The typeface at hand draws inspiration from the architectural characteristics of Stockwell Bus Garage, Edward Johnston's font study, as well as the adaptation of Eiichi Kono and Trajan. It embodies complexity and proportion, while accentuating the magnificence of the garage's arches. Referred to as Nina30, I named the font after Nina, or the "Queen of The Garage" a pioneering woman who served there for three decades. Designed predominantly for display, Nina30 is particularly suited for employment at larger sizes.
